No that isn't a euphemism...Maybe its lockdown kicking in but I've realised I really don't like putting cutlery away after I've washed up.

God knows why, but it really irritates me!

Grrr!

What little household jobs piss you off irrationally?

Vent away

surrounded by twinkly lights

Tidying up toys to find a trail of small clothes dropped on the floor going the other way, I do more steps at home chasing mess than at work

It really irritates me when people in household don't put cutlery away properly, as in knives facing different directions, and spoons all mixed up

"No that isn't a euphemism.."

I love putting the cutlery away. Setting the mood, picking out the right tea towel. Then laying out the cutlery gently on to the teatowel - perhaps on the dining table, maybe on the kitchen counter - and taking time over each single piece, just to ensure that it's carefully but firmly placed in its right compartment. Then giving the cutlery tray a good rattle before slamming the cutlery drawer shut as hard as I can.

Same here. My mate really kindly gave me their old vacuum which is so good it virtually takes the pattern off the carpet but yeah that means I have to empty it every two minutes.

I really do need a naked cleaner

"Folding and putting away clothes, and pulling that rancid hair from the plug!"

Oh putting away clothes is the worst. I have a spare room of which the door is kept closed. It's like a game trying to find an item of clothing I've thrown in there.

Washing up of pots and pans especially greasy ones.

Why dont they make large enough dishwashers that can take everything in one go.

Maybe they exist.

Ironing!!! Only time it gets done is when I've got something important and need to dress to impress, rest of the time it's the crinkled look

The Town by The Cross

Cutlery...... hate it with a vengeance and do it in stages.

Lift it out of hot water and put it all into the drainer.

Later if im making a cuppa I lay out a t towel and lie down all the Spoons. Teaspoons. Knives. Forks and 'Things' to drip dry.

Next time in the kitchen i'll drop knives in the draw while I make another cuppa...... then so on and so on until they are away and I didn't notice.

I NEVER dry them with a t towel. Waste of my life.

Yeah the third bedroom in my house used to be the same.

Now we are in the flat I'm trying to keep on top of it but I'm sure some clothing randomly throws itself out of the drawers and wardrobe!

Lucky you. Something for me to think about in my next kitchen. Or own a restaurant.

There and to the left a bit

When I'm at my Mum's she has the cutlery lined up differently to how I do at home - mine goes knife, fork, spoon...she has knife, spoon, fork...gets me every time I go, both putting away and laying the table
