Just saw a profile for meet ,in sth London,because her bf is at uni wants someone to be with her once this virus is ongoing, cant believe some people

I’ve seen quite a few status updates looking for meets ignoring the fact we should all be staying home and social distancing.

I’ve noticed a lot of people’s attitudes on social media also changing and I think there’s a lot more complacency going on.

When this started heard lots of people saying we will be in lockdown for months or even a year plus. Weather right of wrong knee people wouldn’t stay in lockdown for long periods it’s not enforceable unless you put lots of police or even army on the streets.

People don’t do as their told if it puts them out in any way. We all know you can’t drink and drive or use your mobile in the car these have been laws for long time but still see plenty of people ignoring that.

There are lots of people who need to work too not everyone can get money from the state. These things will make the lockdown slowly crumble away

People are old enough and ugly enough to make their own minds if they meet or not - if they’re willing to risk a meet, then that’s on them.

The question falls to you and how you respond when someone sends you a message saying let’s meet.

Is everyone so true to their words?

But is then who they else afterwards coming into contact with in everyday life as a key worker myself and others will see the danger of this is just trying to slow the domino effect

I've seen a few threads opened right here in the lounge attempting to arrange physical meets

Report any meet requests please, Admin can send a warning saying it isn't allowed on the site, if they carry on after that they will be disabled
