"Is he unwell?"
No-one knows. He pulled out ahead of his 2017 tour citing unforeseen family circumstances but at the time, and since, he has never divulged what the reasons were.
He was due to start a new tour this year but Covid19 has put all of that on hold. |

I've thought him unwell for some time. If he is not unwell then he is stressed and anxious.
I saw him on Jonathan Ross about two years ago .... he was talking about his come back concert and he had m_mbers of his church with him. I thought he'd asked them up for support.
I just wish him well but things are not the same for him and why should they be ?
We all change. We all have experiences.
He is not our monkey to keep performing.
He is a human being with family and interests.
Maybe stand up just doesn't do it for him anymore. |

This. It's a fickle world and I think hes been great and hope noone forgets how successful he has been. I dont laugh out loud at many comedians but hes one of them! |

I don’t think his stand up is very good, a few years ago I watched all of them over a wet weekend and you can see he rehashes his routine. I’m from Bolton so I do want to support any local talent.
However I thought Phoenix Nights and Car Share both brilliant, especially Phoenix. I’ve been to those Northern Working Men’s Clubs, he was very accurate with the acts especially.
Not sure about his health currently, I hope he’s ok I think he’s a good talent, but should stick to the sitcoms. |

I enjoy his stand-up but have always thought his character based work, That Peter Kay Thing, Phoenix nights etc. is where he is most comfortable |

Gutted here as we had tickets for one of his shows (charity tour)
Of course now it's all off, but I understand it's only postponed so hopefully later in the year?   |

He always struck me as a private person anyway, not on the front page of every 5 mins? Hopefully he's ok and if not, what's it got to do with anyone anyway? |

The mans a genius and I hope he’s back soon either live or on tv. I’m not sure why he cancelled his tour a couple of years ago. But if it was mental health related I wouldn’t be surprised. People often use comedy as a smokescreen. Look at Robin Williams |

I thought he didn’t look great at all last night, he hardly moved at all and I thought it was quite telling that there wasn’t any new clips of him spliced into the video with the others |
