It’s my birthday on Friday, can’t really go and celebrate so will have to stay in with a few drinks.
It’s weird isn’t it, I know it won’t last forever but anyone care to join me on Friday  |

Yep was my son's 12th birthday the other week we had all sorts planned with him but in the end where unable to do anything. He had very few cards in the post as family and friends can't get out, I could not even get him his big main present as shop is closed. I really felt bad for him.
Anyway hope you have a good birthday and do whatever you can to celebrate it. Few beers a BBQ in your garden maybe.

My birthday next week, it's bothering my dad more than it is me  he always sends a card and is on the vulnerable list so can't go out to get one. I've told him it's not important but to stop his fretting I've informed him of websites. He's very particular and likes to look at his cards and read the verse- I've told him he can add his own on these websites but he's not very techy. I guess I'll know the outcome next week, or whenever it arrives. |

Buy something on Amazon or similar.. tell them you want it on Friday hopefully and would they wrap it up with birthday wrapping..

It's a Russian honey cake called Medovik. I got tired of baking "regular" cakes and this one looked really good. Every other birthday cake I've made for other people this year have all been delicious, ironic that I mess up mine lol. I'll just stick to what I know... And next time I won't trust the Russians  |

Mine is next week - a lovely friend has sent a card which arrived this morning. I’ve got a new bottle of gin arriving tomorrow c/o eldest child & my parents did a bank transfer. I’m going to book the day off work & drink wine in the garden xx

It was my mum's 70th a fortnight ago. I got an afternoon tea delivered to her and we had a fine old time having tea and nattering over the phone.
Once restrictions are lifted enough later in the year I'll take her for a weekend away somewhere. |

It’s the hubby’s 40th in may, looks like a bbq in the garden with the kids

it was the little girl over the roads 4th birthday.. on our street most of the road are related luckily. So we had a social distancing street party. Both sides of the road. Linked a load of speakers and we did games.. and she had a lovely time. Perhaps celebrating on your front garden and invite the neighbours out on theirs if you can.

It’s pants having a birthday over lockdown. Mine was Easter Saturday the original plans were a weekend away with a group of friends, food, wine and dancing.... well that obviously didn’t happen. We had a quiet day, just the two of us and hubby baked me a cake! Oddest birthday I’ve ever had! But at least I could spent it with my best mate/hubby!

I'm 50 shortly, as is my Dom... We were planning to celebrate after MLS.. Gutted i won't see him, but it is what it is x
