Ever posted something on here in the heat of the moment and then regretted it when it was to late to take the post down

I did something I am totally ashamed of last night and what’s more was a idot for telling people on here

Seems to me that maybe I should avoid posting

I’ve read the post too.

You could have handled the situation better but I wouldn’t be too concerned about the responses. Just brush yourself off and move on. All this thread has done is made people press the green arrow to see what your post was about!

Yeah I’ve posted and regretted it in the past, logged off for a few days to have a break.

TBH it usually becomes “yesterday’s news” pretty quickly if you just let it be....

You've already been chastised over it, so move on.

Before starting another late night thread though, maybe take small sips instead of big gulps and add more water to it.

These are highly stressful times, we have all reacted to situations in a way we wouldn't of normally at the best of times.

Don't worry, today is a new day. Yesterday done and gone.

Stay safe

People make mistakes all the time. The fact that you are willing to admit that it was a mistake, says a lot about you. That is all that matters. Acknowledge the mistakes and try to fix them. You should continue posting on forums and try to get yourself under control. It is a nice challenge on itself.

There are millions of prats out there who would do far worse mistakes and blame it on others.

Well at least you've expressed regret we're all feeling stressed and anxious at the moment and some of us have posted things we shouldn't have.

You were worried. Everyone is worried and anxious. Don't beat yourself up about it. It will have been a slow burn, lots of things bothering you and it was the final straw.

Hope you feel better today. Xx

You apologised on the thread and doing more contrition now, I’m sure if you saw the lady in the street you’d apologise to her as well.

That says a lot more about your character, than a moment of madness in the supermarket or starting a thread about it.

I once used a spreadsheet for a forum thread. All hell broke loose. Gave me a phobia of spreadsheets.

Don’t worry it will soon be forgotten. You had the courage to admit your mistake on the thread and feel ashamed for it

Just keep posting, we all post shit we regret. It goes with the territory.

I think on the forums especially, we all struggle with that! People see you, I think they get caught up in their own friendships sometimes which at a time like this, how can you not? But you’re inclusive and that’s an amazing thing.

Next time just make sure you use a big trolley instead of a basket, even if you only need a couple of pot noodles and some KY.

That way any attempts to encroach on your personal space can be met with a defensive manoeuvre and a possible nudge backwards with a trolley in complete silence.

Used to happen to me every time I went shopping so doubt any staff or other shoppers would bat an eyelid.
