I've got a really bad thigh strain it's the 3rd time this season and each time it's got worse the pain is from above my knee to just below my hip flexor and hints tips on how to make a speedy recovery

I'm not a physio but i find swimming helps me a lot when i get muscle strains, might want to give that a go.

Also if its re-occuring often you might not be warming up properly before your game.

anti inflammatories.....rest......passive exercise....hot and/or cold packs to the affected area
