A mag can always be wiped down with a sponge. Its so difficult telling the Tech Guys (maost of whom appear to ladies) at PC world your lap top has had milk spilled on it............in a straight line v to 9............ |

I personally can not imagine using a porn magazine, there are millions of free porn videos online. If one lives with other people in the house, misplacing the magazine only to be found by your mum can be embarrassing! |

I know this a very old post however just wanted to give my opinion.
For my day job I shoot for a number of Porn Magazines and Adult websites.
Yes websites have hit the magazine market however they are still going strong, with new titles appearing every few months.
They said the internet would kill the magazine industry, in reality most have adapted to the internet age and will be with us for a long time yet!

As a kid we often found porn mags under hedgerows and in other kids dens. Something magical for a kid to find his first porno under the grumblebushes down a back lane. Such an innocent time. |

I buy them, and get given some free.
The lady in the sex shop, puts them to one side for me.
I roll them up and stick; either a can of pringles, or bathroom stuffs, in the middle and ship them to our serving soilders,
Goes down a storm 
Ive been doing this for about 3 years now, ever since dear deidre had an artical in the paper about soilders getting no post,
That said I still sit and write blueies too, and of course emails :D |

One 'vintage' (Hah!!) mag I would love to see a copy of again, is 'Experience' which was out in the 70's. 'Someones (not me!) brother used to buy them monthly and 'hand them down' to us pervy little 13-14 yr olds. It was supposedly written by women (yeah, right!) and was a mix of photos, stories (which were my intro into erotic writing) and contact ads (very interesting... ).
Anyone else (over 50!) remember it..????

I don't remember 'Experience', but I miss a magazine called Desire. Good sexy articles and stories, great photographs and a contact section. It was also on line but was then taken over by Northern and Shell (publishers of Forum) and it went downhill, a great shame.

Desire and The Loot was the first mags we advertised in, Chris who ran Desire was a friend of ours so we got full page ads for free.
Readers Wives was the most known to which we copied the idea into our films as the girl next door image was more real to most guys the the glam super model type. |

I'm working on a bi monthly digtal mag design at the moment in CBZ /CBR format which will work on Windows/Apple/Android/Linux.
Trying to put live hyperlinks into it too but early days yet but hope to be ready for the summer.
With Adult video sites being shut left right and centre we have to progress to the next stage.
The internet as killed the mag industry but something can and will be salvaged from it. |
