Completely depends on the content, quality of image, composition, lighting, subject.......just like any colour image. Black and white can hide a lot of imperfections but it's not automatically going to be a better photo.
But a good black and white shot can be fantastic.

"Well it would be but it's yet another dick pic
Does it look classier in black and white?
Maybe if I squint and tilt my head??
Mmm nope. Still a dick"
Maybe if you look at it from a distance and do that thing with both hands that photographers do and create a frame with their fingers and look through it?
Well would you look at that? |

About sums it up for me - black and white can add an element of clumsiness to a pic - but the pic needs to be a decent one in the first place |

Depends what you want from the picture! If you’re muscle definition black and white can work well! If you want to show the detail of underwear colour maybe better! Just depends what you want people to notice more! |

"Photography is all about 2 things - light and micro-stories.
B&w gives the full spectrum black to white and can maybe simply things to help gets story across?"
Sounds like we got a real photographer on our hands here. |

They help focus on detail of the body/expression of the face rather than distracting colours.
They can be more "forgiving" too.
I wouldnt say they are necessary always sexier. |

If it's yet another boring dick pic then it makes no difference.
We see so many dicks a day it's almost like I've become desensitized by them.
I no longer give a shit what someones cock looks like.
But if the face and body are good along with a great personality then a colour or black and white picture makes no difference |

B&W photos are less distracting. They allow to focus on the subject, the texture. Colour is another layer (or medium) in photography. If it's not used in conscious way it might be distracting... but there is no right and wrong. |
