We watched the series "Quiz" yesterday all 3 in one go, fully expecting it to confirm our thoughts they did cheat, however we both now aren't so sure they did do...well not in the way it was suggested...maybe the Major was just incredibly lucky with his guesses?.. |

You do know this was a drama, don't you?
The writer clearly intended to raise questions and create a bit of ambiguity but that has nothing to do with the facts of the case.
This is why we have courts and evidence and juries |

"Have to take into consideration his mensa badge and accreditation with them ... as for cheating... I duno ... and the syndicate guy said they wasnt his . But 10 % of all other winners were "
I'd be more interested to know who these 10% were tbf...

I think the Major did cheat. His Menza badge means he was good enough to get in the seat but also cleaver or stupid to overthink and make the process look so unnatural. This is also another reason he played down his Menza credentials.
Anyway this case helped to unravel several flaws in the process and the system. |

B" yes you would think on him finding out that 10% of all winners up to that point were there because of cheating and and possibly cheated on the show. He would of been more wanting to find out about them.
On the other hand if he had got the last question wrong would they stil of said he cheated. |

"Yes, I saw that, I'm still trying to work out whether he did or not. " I dont see how they could use someone with a natural caugh to caugh on cue at certain points. Like they say there were 19 caughs or something from that area on the right answers but hundreds all together and alot of them on wrong answers how could he pi k out the right ones
