Its superb I was exactly the same though, I find when I go into a film like that it turns out better than expected, like when I watched The Joker recently I was expecting some superhero stuff and that really made me not want to watch it but my god I'm glad I did! |

It's so well done. Didn't even think about Tom Hardy playing both brothers until about 15 minutes from the end.
Playing Ronnie Kray must have been fun for him. |

My 75 year old ex croupier friend dated the son of the mafia guy that meets the krays. The casinos were run by the mafia..her stories from her days..she was watching depictions of her memories in the film.
