Just to the admin on here - as this is likely to be the most effective methodology. Sometimes personal vendettas could take hold, and it would be a case of tit for tat, or someone being unfairly bullied etc, if things were public. As it is, there's often too much crud in the forums, so even more would take the site downhill, I think.
I realise it's a major pain when time's wasted by other users - but having high standards for the site is, for me, one reason to stay on. It must be a tough job for admin to keep track of any wrong doing, but they do their best, I'm sure. Maybe it would be a good thing if they published their stats, such as total no of members removed from the site/had privileges withdrawn, each week etc. |

In theory it seems a good idea - in reality it wouldn't be. It would be completely open to abuse.
So for that reason - I'm out!  |

When has public naming and shaming ever been a good thing? Give any example in all of history where the policy of publicly outing someone for something has not had negative repercussions.
It serves only to make the person wronged feel better and ostracize the "wrongdoer" under the guise of warning others, and invariably doesn't help because they'll just resurface with a new identity. |

Naming and shaming is one-sided and subjected to abuse, and I am against it.
I am also against eBay style feebback system for the same reasons.

once the ball starts rolling and people take sides it becomes a right mess.
dont name and shame it is best left and just move on.
and you wish the site to be enjoyable and also exciting to meet others.
not something you may end up hating or fear logging on to because someone has said something.
leave it alone and move on |
