Today it will be gammon cooked in cider in the slow cooker then finished off in the oven with some sort of glaze (I haven't decided what yet) with roast potatoes, parsnips and whatever veg I find in the fridge that takes my fancy. I'm not much of a planner... |

Yep, just about to prep the leg of lamb and veg for our lunch later. Love a Sunday roast, has to have garlic and herb roasties with yorkie puds, roast carrots & steamed broccoli with lashings of proper gravy. |

Use marmalade for your glaze. You won't be disappointed. |

It's Sunday, traditional day for the roast dinner. What's your roast of choice?
For me:
Leg of Lamb
Roast Potatoes
Roast Parsnips
Steamed Carrots
Leaks in white sauce."

Go to is roast beef in the slow cooker. Add to that roast potatoes in garlic olive oil, peas, carrots, cauliflower, parsnips and of course Yorkshire puddings
Love roast chicken to, nice crispy skin, cooked until it falls off the bone, then swap out cauliflower and parsnips for leeks cooked with bacon and chestnuts
Damn made myself hungry.... is it time for that jacket potato yet |
