Sat chatting away in bed and all i can smell is fresh bread baking ,yet not baking any!
Used to happen before when i lost my bf could smell his aftershave at strange times of day and in different rooms,weird...so anyone else experienced this im sure u have and whoevers baking bread id love a chunk with real butter on ty very muchly  |

We used to smell tobacco in our house (not cigarettes). We have a friend who's very psychic and she described a man standing in the corner of our room holding a tobacco tin. When I showed her a photograph of my dad when he was younger the colour drained from her face so I knew that's who she'd seen. The funny thing is we've never smelt it since, it's as if he just wanted to let us know that's he's still around. On occasions our two youngest grandchildren will just look up and laugh as if someone is talking to them, so we just say hi dad come to visit have you.  |

A really sweet smell .. not quite like flowers or perfume just a really comforting sweet smell
I like to think that when you smell that ( and there is no logical explanation) someone you love who has passed on has just come to check on you - that's what comforts me |

Totally agree with you on that,im a big believer in the afterlife so smile when i smell.my late bf aftershave,used to freak me oot when he first passed but now its comforting.....  |

My dad was of the old school and never wore after shave etc. But he was never without his baccy tin and he loved his roll ups!!! So that would be the smell that we would associate with him |
