You know one of those days where you have multiple things on your mind & they arent likely to go away any time soon? Being a grown up sucks sometimes
My stomach is turning with anxiety all day.
My biggest stress is that I am getting fierce pressure to return to work during the lockdown. I have been off for 2 and a half years as I had breast cancer. I had just about wrapped my head around going back to the office. Not at home, during lockdown with 2 kids to look after.
Ugh...hate this feeling
Moan over!

"Ahh, totally understand.
This wont last and you will be back at work soonish.
Hold tight.
Here is a virtual hug from me. "
I dont really want to be back at work tbh!! At least not from home. Half of the enjoyment of my job is that I have been there 16yrs and I know alot of people...the chats are great. Cant do that from home! |

I get it.
I work from home generally more since Covid 19. We keep in touch with colleagues using what's app chats and video conferencing.
Maybe this a possibility for you too?
Take care. |

Can you do virtual team meetings via Skype or another video platform which might help.
It’s not the best timing to return. I imagine the first couple of weeks will be training and refamilarising yourself with everything.
It’s natural to feel anxious after such a long break, I bet it won’t be as bad as you think. Can you talk to a colleague or your boss about how you are feeling? x |

You've had a lot to take on board and get your head around.
It's not easy juggling kids and work, especially during these times.
I hope you find that works for you.
Good luck with work and you're right, being an adult can suck x |

My current job, due to the role, has been pretty isolating for me. But working from home has been loads better in a way...people constantly chatting in WhatsApp groups, really fast banter, funny pics from our home life, more relaxed team meetings by video. I’d be happy to carry on like this...or maybe 50:50 when this is over. You might find the resources are in place for this kind of stuff..? |
