During this lockdown period it is a good start to think of doing something else. I am well kind of. I am relearning myself web design and especially the coding bit of it like html and javascript, back in the days I knew lots of it, it will be fun to do it again. I am also looking forward and even could work with it as well

I'm learning how to enjoy lie ins.

And days off.

Something you seldom get when self employed.

Apart from the financial worries I'm actually enjoying the downtime.

Blacksmithing

Picking it up well, but only having the basic tools and equipment is starting to get a bit frustrating now

I need a powerful belt sander mainly and a large leg vice, some drifts, punches etc would also be very useful

I’m relearning French.

I’m actually signing up for some free courses that are vaguely related to my job also.

Bored one has hit. I’m happy to use this thread for ideas of skills I could learn though!

Not so much learning a new skill as looking into career paths and options, I think it's time I started looking at moving on and I don't want to waste this time off.

Just around the corner

No. I’m lucky enough to be still working but in my dining room not the office. Apart from saving a bit of commuting time I’d struggle to fit anything new in.

Yes, that counts as well, are you growing them in your garden and do you grow lots of it?

Haha no I tried the apps before and feel like they just taught me random words and phrases that I forgot easily.

I got "learn Spanish with Paul Noble" on Audible, and it's so much better at teaching you sentence structure and loads of hints and tips to help remember it all.

Well Money Heist is not working for me!

No seriously though I use Babbel and I have just started a podcast which I think is a bit like your audiobook but way less formal. If it fails, I’ll check out Mr Noble next month.

I refuse to watch Money Heist until I can do it without subtitles

So in about 10 years maybe.

Yup. Basic builders work, mixing cement and create pathways in the garden. Also trying to grow tomato, pepper and sunflower.

Going strong here
