Yes i know Hillsborough was not a fire but the Bradford fire was equally as upsetting and lives were lost too.

They were very devastating. My father had a work colleague who died in the fire.

Both accidents caused by negligence, the same can be said of the kings cross fire and many others.

It’s not until

After that things change you could add the Hyesel Stadium into this too

What happened at Hillsborough was very upsetting I sat down to watch a game of football on BBC1 back then there wasn’t as much live football on television as there is now and the FA Cup was a big deal back then.As a Man Utd fan I find it upsetting when I read in the papers about Man Utd fans mocking Liverpool fans over Hillsbrough and Liverpool fans mocking Man Utd fans over Munich 1958 and making aeroplane noises. When will the small minority of both sets of fans learn.

People should never go to a public event - concert , football match etc & due to negligence never come home .... & some of the people with blood on their hands have still not been held accountable ??

Yes you are correct but I kind of get the sense from your post that we shouldn’t remember Hillsborough just because of Bradford? Today is the anniversary of Hillsborough and on the day of Bradford fire anniversary they remember the people lost that day. Same way Liverpool and Juventus remember Heysel and Rangers commemorate the Ibrox disaster.

As I recall that game wasn't shown live, grandstand only showed pictures from the ground because of what was happening. I'm thinking that the semi finals weren't shown live until they were both played at Wembley over a weekend.

. Apologises the pictures coming from grandstand were off what was happening in the ground and not of a live game.
