Usually I do culture holidays. A combination of history and randomly exploring cities.
Very occasionally I enjoy a beach holiday, swimming, touch of tennis or cricket, reading in the shade during the heat of the day. |

Been about 16 years since my last. I have an IOU 1 holiday but it's highly doubtful I'll be "cashing it in" so to speak.
Time I do take off work is normally weekends when my son is visiting so I actually get to see him rather than passing ships in the night with me working and him catching up with mates.

Mostly white water kayaking and canyoning |

Bit of both? I try to find things a little outside the norm, but I'm not deluding myself into thinking I really get it. |

Mostly go on European city trips. Like to try local cuisine, explore the sights/history and see the architecture..
Was supposed to go Munich, Switzerland and Greece this year, but that's not happening now
Instead, I'm exploring my back garden. |

It's a mix. A couple of places we've been have been so nice that we've been back but part of it for us is the attraction of the new. It's such a good feeling to get in an airport taxi in a completely new country. |

As I tend to go by myself I just do whatever. I always try to go to herculaneum when I'm on the Amalfi coast and love the ruins around pozzuoli |

Love holidays where can see real culture in where we choose to go. Both love museums and historical sites.
Also like to laze about in the sun, well earned respite for us both.
I don't mind slumming it holidays, as in backpacker style (as did fair bit of this on my own as have no friends) but also enjoy luxurious places for us to really indulge in each other |

I like a beach holiday but in a country where there is more to do than just that.
I like to go out on day trips and see the country I am in.
1 day on the beach with cocktails, 1 day out for a week or 2 |

"What about you OP? Where do you like to holiday?"
In this country I am a campaholic, renting a campervan and tents with my mates in fields with hardly anyone else (we book farm field camp sites in the middle of nowhere) essentially revisiting my childhood with games and food and general larking about
Abroad I am a cruise fiend as I don't get to go abroad often so I chose my favourite |

I rented a camper van for a uk trip and loved it. So amazing that you can just go anywhere without a plan.
I have only done one cruise. It was amazing. But I have never found anyone to go with me since |

That is the part I like, freedom is very high on my needs. To pack a bag and go wherever is so refreshing for me.
I don't like heat, tolerable up to 25 degrees then boom my crabby no tolerance side erupts, how hard have you looked for someone who could put up with you for a whole week without throwing you overboard |

I like driving holidays if I'm by myself, usually try to stop off to see a few friends around Europe, and visit new places as well as favourite old ones.
Short city breaks can be good too, though I find those better with someone else.
Not a huge fan of beach holidays unless its somewhere like Cap D'Agde where I'll soend a bit of time in the resort and other days head out to Carcassonne, Narbonne, and other local places. |

Just about everything except cruises. Love to drive or fly drive and AirBnB all around the world, also enjoy using my Marriot & VA benefits Also like to camp and do adventures in the UK. Last Easter was in a Tipi in Croyd north Devon having surf lessons every day and a couple of years before cycling Hadrian’s wall and checking out castles in Northumberland. |

Varies, have my two annual family getaways Jan/Feb Center Parcs then Jul/Aug Isle of Man. Usually a few UK City Breaks or camping as well.
Tend to do a European City Break every couple of years but decided as my youngest is 19 and a bit more mature that 2020 I would do more city breaks by myself (bloody typical we are now in lockdown). Managed Bruges beginning of March and my Amsterdam trip is postponed.
I am not one for sitting on a beach unfortunately the sun hates my pale skin so visiting cities and exploring along with relaxing with good food and drink is more me. |

City breaks of late with a beach holiday in the middle.
Could do with an extended sojourn though. Last did that in Vienna as a working holiday. Loved it.
Also walked the Camino de Santiago in Spain a few years ago and loved that as a 6 week trip. |
