What to watch - netflix etc
Jump to: Newest in thread
Hey so I've now finished Ozark and Tiger King. Also watched F1 drive to survive, rust to riches and Sunderland till I die.
Now looking for my next TV series to watch. Any suggestions?
Like documentaries, cars, sport, crime etc etc. Not huge about sci fi or horror. Thanks! |

Money heist, Rick and Morty, The thick of it, Breaking Bad (of course), dont fuck with cats, Good girls and Top Boy.
For a one off, the documentary on Fyre fest fest was an absolutely hilarious watch.

"They just added a new final episode of Tiger King so I'm watching that tonight.
I started Ozark this week it's really good. I'd also recommend Homeland. "
I started Ozark on Friday. I’m 7 episodes in. It’s brilliant. |

Does it have to be Netflix? As there was etc at the end of the post...
Vikings is on amazon and I loved that.
I struggle to get into series and watched all that in a month before lockdown.
I've been recommended Sabrina on Netflix, let me know if it's any good |

"Another vote for the stranger.
Seen breaking bad. Gave up with better call Saul. Also watched the first couple seasons of homeland thought it was brilliant then got fed up"
+1 for The Stranger.
Happy Valley (yes I know I'm about 3 years behind everyone else! ) is great as well.
Breaking Bad & Sons of Anarchy are the next 2 to binge watch. |

"The Stranger
Dodgy ending!! Just my opinion!"
Totally agree! Spent all day glued to the screen waiting to get to the end and was sorely disappointed!
Mad Men is quite old now but one of the best things on Netflix. Season 1 is very slow but after that you'll be hooked, it's so full of rich, layered characters and storylines. It's being removed on the 29th though so you'll have to be quick.
Brooklyn Nine Nine is one of my favourite shows and season 6 just got added to Netflix
Money Heist is good too, very addictive.
Bojack Horseman is funny while also diving into real deep human issues. Really different to anything else I've seen in the best way.
BBC iPlayer also has some good options - Our Girl, Killing Eve, as well as some classic sitcoms.
All4 has pretty much all the sitcoms that have ever aired on C4. I highly recommend Derry Girls. |

Try The Staircase on Netflix. True crime US documentary. On the one hand it left me aghast at what can be allowed in a US criminal court and how far it runs on personalities with the attorneys acting like it was their celebrity stage. On the other, I genuinely don’t know if I think he did it or not. Worth a gawk. |

"The spy
Sacha barron Cohen portrays his real life Israeli spy unlce.
It was bloody brilliant and way better than any recent bond movie.
"
I thought Sacha Barron Cohen was brilliant in this. Good series. |

"The Wire - oldy but goldy and not what you would expect it to be, good for binge watching"
To anyone who hasn't watched the wire... What are you doing with your life. Haha
We all have someone in our group of friends telling us its the best TV show ever. And they are right.
Or the sopranos.

"Would recommend 2 films on Netflix to watch if you haven't seen them, especially with what we're going through now.
Bird Box.
A Quiet Place."
Thanks. Not seen either so will check them out.
If they are nearly as good as Mrs F's pics then it will be good viewing! |

Need to try killing eve mentioned a few times. Mentioned a few I've not heard of so need to take a look at them too.
F1 drive to survive was great I thought. 2 seasons and even if you aren't into F1 it would be a good watch I think as it's behind the scenes, contract negotiations etc, fighting and some of the team owners and managers are real characters haha.
Yes seen them both. Rush is decent but Senna is phenomenal, one of my favourite films. |
