I was supposed to see it at a cinema a few weeks back as part of a Cronenberg all-dayer but I had tooth ache and left early  I have it on DVD, I'm hoping it'll come out on blu-ray at some point as Unger's body is a work of art that deserves to be seen in HD Do you like other Cronenberg films? |

Eastern Promises of course has a scene of three men fighting whilst totally naked which may appeal to some people...
Oh yeah, Deebie Harry in Videodrome. Such an odd part for her to take. Putting a cigarette out on her breast...You would definitely follow her into any weird scenario wouldn't you? I do love that film but it's not an easy watch. In his second proper film, 'Rabid', Cronenberg was convinced to cast a famous porn star (Marilyn Chambers) to play the lead - a woman who has experimental surgery to save her life but is left needing human blood which she extracts via a spike that comes out of her armpit and stabs her victims after she seduces them...astonishingly it's actually a good, low-budget horror film although it should be a disaster. |

Funnily enough it was re-made last year but a friend who saw it said it wasn't very good.
I'm a big fan of JG Ballard who wrote the original novel of Crash so having him and Cronenberg together was a really good fit for me. It's a really good, if unnerving, novel - I'd recommend it if you like the film. |

If you decide to pick up a copy, make sure it's the version that was released in the last couple of years. David Lynch deliberately damaged the film in the sex scene so you couldn't see Laura Harring's pubic hair when she goes full-frontal, all you can see is a scratch on the film. The most recent blu-ray edition doesn't have that scratch so you can take her in in all her glory. |

There's a film called "love" on Netflix. Shows everything including sex scenes, blowjobs, close up of a hard on, and a cumshot right at the start. One for both ladies and men as the cast are hot. Give it a watch. |
