So, furlough, lockdown, Easter weekend & sunshine. Often means decorating, DIY jobs and gardening...

I'm clearing out a shady patch, and will plant some ferns, helebores & cyclamen.

What projects is everyone else doing?

Been doing the garden bit by bit. Yesterday planted peas and spinach in beds, and tomatoes, chillis, peppers, lettuce, coriander and parsley in pots for planting out later.

We're growing herbs in a planter and also my hanging basket is an ongoing project because it has to be overflowing and beautiful but it's still at the just flowering stage.

My main project is to not eat all the chocolate.

We need to fill our log stores.... we use several tons every year. We started off with Ross in a chainsaw bib cutting firewood in the forest and Suzie loading.

Then we got bored, took off our clothes and sunbathed!

I'm growing a little less as i cant get seed potatoes etc

Sowed tomatoes, beans, leeks, salad, rocket, fennel, courgettes +peas so far. Doing beetroots +cauliflower today. Rhubarb, raspberries, red currants, swiss chard, strawberries + globe artichokes are springing into life

Inbetween work, decorating the living room and plenty of gardening. Its the weather too I think? Though finding out you havent got that last piece of essential timber, or enough paint is slightly annoying...though in the grand scheme of things fairly insignificant.

Well today emptied the shed and reorganised it so less cluttered and sorted stuff to clear out when tips open. Sorted out garden borders and stuff and cleaned up areas.
