Nope smooth..it's something I can't not do as it stems from keeping healthy and hygienic whilst homeless...every morning shave etc..guess the stay smart and tidy comes from days in forces as well |

"Has anyone used this extended break from meeting as an excuse to grow their body hair? Any body hair included from head to toe!!"
Yes. Wondering how much longer I have to tolerate this shit.
It's interesting to note how things have changed. How the hair has changed.
Need my sidecuts doing when this is over.
Very much in two minds about my current state. Thought about sharing photos to show both extremes in some context (and they very much are extremes).... But it's bad enough when I have the audacity to be existing in public, alone, while wearing a tank top, cami or shorts in warm weather.
PROS FOR CURRENT STATE
*Feminist-approved (hyperradical queer culture would love me right now )
*Warm, I guess... [In the voice of a monolingual Brit on holiday trying to talk to a native unfamiliar with English] SHAME IT'S COMING UP TO SUMMER
*No paying for Hollywoods
*Almost no bumps on the backs of thighs
*Not potentially overdosing on ibuprofen
*No having to go through the faff of finding a venue I can comfortably go to, that I can afford and that I don't have to worry about chatting with the technician the whole time
CONS
*Much higher maintenance to wash. Legit have to use a mix of shampoo and body wash at least every other day on the pits and area, bleeh
*No availability of Hollywoods
*Having to fight the urge to buy Veet because it's a non-essential item
*Am I doing this just to see what it's like or because of the situation?
*Is this being done out of self curiosity or due to current mental state?
*Have to make sure my legs are fully covered and make sure tops cover my sleeves if I wear clothes
*Pervs
PROS OF PREFFERED STATE
*I can wear ANYTHING if I want to
*Much more comfortable
*Menstruation is less gross to deal with
*Feels better under clothes
*Looks better under clothes
*[[I can't word this better, more succinctly or less offensively! If I could, I would]] Helps it seem less like I "have special needs" (I'm talking about learning or cognitive disability as opposed to anything physical, which I don't yet have experience of). I get enough crap from life as is and rem_mber what life was like before I learnt about fashion/appearance/style. Not fun
CONS
*Despite what the myths say, shaving DOES make it grow back thicker and darker. I avoid this method if humanly possible
*My hair grows back extremely quickly, so any routine has to be kept up religiously. I struggle to do so big time, and waxers get pissy if you do ANYTHING to the hair between sessions
*I can confidently say it's thicker and darker than that of a good portion of men
*Pain
*Most waxers don't do a particularly thorough job, in my experience. There's very little consistency between waxers, and
*ALWAYS get bumps on the backs of my thighs, somewhat like ingrown hair or KP, and it feels awful (even with exfoliation) when removing
*Different bits tolerate different methods better
*That first wax once businesses can open again... Won't be fun. |
