Do you prefer people who?
1. Tell you to your face.
2. Tell you abstractly.
3. Tell you while fleeing.
4. Have 2 or 3 ways of telling it.
5. Never tell you at all. |

..although if you were not tip top (physchologically/emotionally) whilst recieving those words would it make a difference?

Yes and no. I would first analyse if the reasons that pushes the person to tell me those things.
I guess motive would make the difference.
For the sake of the argument, let's say that I message a woman on here, and she replied with ' After looking at your profile, I don't thing we are a good match'... That I would take it well.
Now if that woman would have said ' after reading your profile, I can definitely say that I am not interested' that would hurt because it implies that I disgusted her somehow. Yet that message was tinted with superiority so I would probably see it as that.

That might depend on a person thinking is it worth it or not. Are there times for holding our peace?
Or approaching things in another less straightforward way?
