"Beyond low. Panicking now"
Ok, first take a breath and relax your muscles.
Second to you have any coping strategies that can help improve the moment or anyone you can call? |

There are telephone helplines, there are pages of support on social media sites, even places like this can help as people support each other.
Just don’t do anything that could be detrimental.
Life does get better, and there’s no time scale
to feeling better in yourself again.
The scariest place to be is your own head, just try to hold on. I used to imagine I was stroking the black dog at the point where it makes a dogs leg move involuntarily, a dog looking stupid isn’t as scary as the one overwhelming you xx |

"Music helps but I can’t switch off. No one to call "
Ok that's great, do you have your music on now? If not put something on that calms you.
Get yourself a hot drink and maybe something nice to eat like chocolate. It seems small but the the small things can really help in the now.
The Samaritan's are always open. |

"Pm me op if you wish, I'm trained in CBT for anxiety" . Oh that's great, I was trying to use the sensory elements of dbt skills in small bite-sized chunks as they normally help.

I was told to sit still and focus on feeling grounded, start at my feet and focus on them become heavy, then the next is the ankles, and just sitting in isolation xx |

Grounding is very helpful. I also like 5 4 3 2 1.
5 things you can see
4 things you can touch
3 things you can hear
2 things you can smell
1 thing you can taste.
That's helpful in a crisis moment and using all the senses. |

"Guys. Anxiety as gone. Thank you. Going to try sleeping. Anyway I can delete this thread as very embarrassed x"
That is brilliant.
You can report the tread and ask for it to be removed but you have nothing to be embarrassed about about.
There is always someone here that can listen and offer advice.
I hope you remain calm and look up grounding techniques as they really do help to improve the moment.when you feel able give that helpline a call. |

Sitting reading this with tears, sometimes a kind thought it word from someone can be all the difference someone needs. To see strangers reach out with genuine concern makes my little cracked heart swell. Op hope you get some sleep and know there is always someone out there. Xx |

Please don’t be embarrassed. You recognised the signs, you reached out for help, and you got it. That’s brilliant. Hope you managed to get some sleep, and are feeling more rested |
