Manchester (she/her)

It's not been the best start to the decade.

But when the going gets tough, the tough get going

On the whole, my stress level and anxiety are diminished. I do however have to tolerate the mother 24/7 and a Small who knows it all. Still, things could be worse here

I would say bad year for me, operation in January 2019, cheating boyfriend Feb 2019, tore my MCL had to learn to walk again (rugby injury) in June 2019, October 2019 lost a friend to suicide, February 2020 narrowly missed the job of my dreams, oh and now some shitty virus!!!! BUT I’m a positive person and it’s only one bad year out of the rest of my life.

Okay well, so going back two years or more, my mum's fella got diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, he subsequently died and on the same date as my father (my dad was only in his thirties)... My mums late partneronly went and left his house to a well known charity, nothing to my mum! two friends I know commited suicide, my mum's brother died, I lost a child, she was massively premature (only 26 weeks old and under scrupulous circumstances)...I then had a stroke! tried to sell up and move away, lost the sale of my house and the one I was set to buy (thought a fresh start would be a good thing).

For me the list keeps going on and on...

The positives, I'm still here, single, fighting, doing a lot of poetry (haven't done that since I was a kid and I know it sounds nerdy!)

I can't really get my head around it all....

Even tried online dating...that was a total tease/waste of time....

I even tried to adopt a dog, omg how difficult!?!?!?
