How would kids cope with covid if they had no Internet/xbox/ps4 and Tiktok?
I had Stretch Armstrong when I was younger! Buckaroo! And does anyone remember those long tubes that you span around your head and it make a stupid whooshing sound. Simpler times! Seems a long time ago that!
Anyone have any good toys to add to the list? |

"Finally persuaded my son to do the airfix kit I bought him for Christmas.
I've now had to order a messerschmidt to dog fight the spitfire "
My son used to build these, he's still got them suspended from his bedroom ceiling, age 17!
Our daughter has been playing outside most of the time, making her own games up with a yoyo (it's a pet puppy called Dave), Nerf wars with her brother, playing with my basketball, with her dolls having picnics etc. She's pretty happy making her own fun, like we did as kids. |

Gat gun
Air rifle (I know it's not a toy toy but awesome and different times)

Lego! Loved it as a kid and still love it now.
Being stuck at home shielding and getting bored very quickly, hubby bought me the Hogwarts castle set early instead of waiting for my birthday. I’ve been pacing myself trying to make prolong the pleasure of building it but it’s finally complete. It’s awesome! |

Playing on my bike
Playing marbles outside
Catapults and making peg guns
I was always outside making my own games until I had a Sega master system and I got hooked. I spent more time on that than anything. |

Lego of all types from regular to technic
Matchbox 75 series toy cars.
Best toy ever was my Roadmaker kit. Cardboard sections that slotted together & you made up your own layout. Hours of fun. Came with set of road signs & stickers. Someone should really bring that back for the kids.

They'd be fine and adapt, especially if there isn't a choice
Up to parents to show them there's a life outside of technology |

Anything that involved being out with my besty on our pushbikes.
Kerby - stand either side of the road and throw a football, try hitting opposite kerb n getting it to come back to you.
Air rifles n catapults.

"Ohhhhh just thought of another , Simon !!!! "
Loved Simon, that toy was solidly built too as many times it got thrown across the room in anger when hitting red instead of blue! |
