Being cautious on here?

Jump to: Newest in thread

By *otsossie OP   Man  over a year ago

local, but not too local

Am I wrong for being a bit cagey and cautious on here?

I reckon I’ve had a couple of catfishings, pretend women/couples especially.

But is it normal to get blocked for taking too long to respond to a message?

I’m not mad keen on sharing face pics after I got called “baby face” by one of the stunning ladies on here, so I maybe bide my time on that until I think I’ve got a half decent one

Not that there’s owt wrong with my face!

Just my boyish good looks, honest

I'd say that caution on any social media is a good thing

I don't accept friend requests or share face pics straight away. I don't see anything wrong with being cautious these days. As long as you remain polite people shouldn't get the hump over it. But that's just my opinion

you can't appeal to everyone but most won't converse unless they are happy with your face so I'd get onto taking one you're happy with sooner rather than later

Stop it, I’m getting all frisky from the atttention

New profile pic shows all you’re getting for now. This wasn’t intended as attention seeking

Totally agree with caution .. the min I’ve sent a face pic, blocked.. try get into conversation, blocked .. or ghosted ... very few contact me, try to join in, ignored.. now I’m either a boring ugly fucker or ppl are just ignorant .. so that then breeds caution to the max ... like a vicious circle but I’m happy

Being cautious is definitely the best attitude on fab. I'm the same with face pics, if the men can't understand that I need to get to know them before sending one, then they can move on.

It pays to be cautious on here and anywhere on the internet. You kind of develop a sixth sense after a while.

If someone messages me offering free tea and as much cake as I can eat - it’s probably a scam

It’s good to be cautious. Go with your gut instinct. If someone seems to good to be true, they’re probably fake.

I don't send face pics anymore, I haven't done that for years, Not really interested in sending random messages to people either, OP I'd send a pic when you want to not when they ask

Yeah that’s how I’m playing it but it seems to be instablock territory.

Oh well, I suppose beating them all off with a shitty stick was getting dull anyway.

Unsolicited friend requests.

What you do is wait till the fucker goes offline.

Accept request. Check pics.

Unfriend.

Fuck em

Sensible to be cautious.

The first social I went on was someone that had used fake pics. It was awful and made me delete my previous profile.
