Now the air is cleaner with less pollutants in the air, how many of you have been reunited with with the effects of Tree Pollen? The levels have never been so high!

I’m staying indoors today hoping my dry, itchy scratchy throat is just down to pollen and nothing else. As if we don’t have enough to worry about, as well as trying to define what the symptoms are fortunately no cough, no temp

Are you stocked up on antihistamines? Most in my family have noticed high pollen in air and have started taking now.

I’m sure it’ll be coming my way soon; I have a massive hedge in my garden and when that flowers it’s awful.

I usually get hay fever, particularly with the early tree pollen but I haven’t as yet. I’m probably going to regret saying that.

Do you take anything for it DC?

I take fexofenidine and beconase nasal spray. If you start taking it early in the season and get it into your system, you barely see any symptoms. Dont wait for the symptoms to appear then start taking.

Yup! It came with a vengeance I noticed.

I very swiftly ordered my usual prescription on an online pharmacy!

Tip for you all:

When you go for your daily walk / exercise wear something to cover your hair

If you wore a jacket shake it out when you take it off

At night either brush your hair or wash it before bed

Pollen gets trapped in your hair, then sits on your pillow - hence itchy eyes / sore throat the next morning

Totally. Went for a ride out the other night and I was suffering at dusk. Don’t help the horse kicks it all up.

Or that it sticks to the horse’s coat!

Mine has kicked in for the second time this year.

It started two days before I was due to fly back from Mexico when this all first kicked off and I have to admit to being a bit concerned as I thought I might get to the airport start sneezing and be put in quarantine in Mexico for 14 days and not get home.

It seems to have started again this morning. The Joy's of summer.

Spending more time in the garden than ever but it's usually grass pollen that gets me and only have a small lawn.

a little dab of vaseline on your nostrils as early as possible in the day will really reduce your symptoms.
