Last month I bought a Logitech webcam C270 in PC World / Currys for £29.99.

Now it's out of stock in PCW at the same price and available on eBay new for £125.99.

What do you think?

It'll just be someone hoping to make.a killing.

Not a lot different from some places selling a 99p bottle of hand sanitizer for £25.

There and to the left a bit

That kind of thing has been happening since long before all this OP - on a whole range of things - there's always someone on eBay or Amazon Marketplace trying to sell at an inflated price in the hope of getting a bite - you'll probably find the same seller elsewhere with it at a much lower price too - ultimately buyers choice whether to pay it or not

Noticed something similar at Tescos this evening when passed the petrol station.

Unleaded now at £1.02 a litre.. Am sure that was about £1.20 a few weeks ago ago!

Also the way ebay works the longer something is listed the higher it appears in searches so some business sellers inflate the price of something that's out of stock so nobody buys it. When they get them back in stock again they edit the price back to normal. This keeps the ad 'live'

Last week a loaf of bread was £1.25 for the seeded batch.

This week it was £1.25 for the same loaf!

I went and asked why the prices were staying the same.

Madness.

I'm pretty sure it's because everyone is setting up an Onlyfans account, and PC World wants to milk that for all it's worth.

The game in that little cardboard sleeve that came with every console sold.

Now going for around £30 on ebay. Which is about what a console and all the extras was going for before xmas.

look at gym equipment on ebay.

even makers of the stuff are unable to keep up with demand.

I sold most of my gym stuff just as the gyms are told to close and I made a killing.

got over £500 for a 7ft Olympic bar with 20kg weights. only cost £80 to buy in first place.
