In a time like this I've realised that not having someone to talk to face to face or not having some physical contact with another person, Limited from being able to go outside, Its given me a little more empathy for the old, People living alone with no social life, People unable to go outside etc
After its over what's the first thing you will do, or who,
Like a weekend away, Place's to go, People to see |

I want to get out in the open somewhere. The seaside or a forest.
I’d been leaning toward doing more to give back to society before this appeared and seeing people come together to help makes me want to do it even more so maybe I’ll do a bit of stuff for me and a bit of stuff for others |

Go and see my Mum and Dad again. We are using Zoom as a family, but being able to give them both a hug again would be special. My mum’s on the shielded list and is very vulnerable if she catches it. I don’t think she would survive. |

What I want and what will really happen are 2 totally different things.
Want: a weekend away with B, doing romantic fluffy soppy stuff.
Reality: back to work I would imagine, wishing for a romantic soppy fluffy weekend that ain't happening

There and to the left a bit |
Seeing my Mum again will be the top priority - it's the one thing about the current situation I feel very helpless about knowing I can't help her at a time when she actually needs it most (even though I *know* right now the best thing I can do for her is to stay away).
Beyond that it's highlighted to me just how important friends are and how much we can take them for granted at times and end up not seeing them for longer than we should, so catching up with people and ensuring it's a regular thing is something I look forward to too. |
