I seem to be looking forward more to breaks in my day/night coming here to escape.
I manage a home delivery company and we've been repurposed to delivering ppe kits to care homes and carers. We now run 24/7 and still wish there was more hours in each day, and more days in each week. I am sleeping on a camp bed in my office..
A local butcher heard what we're doing and brought us a heap of meat, steaks, burgers, sausages, chops plus a dozen disposable bar-be-ques.. It was emotional to see the lads faces saying thank you through teary tired eyes.. How ever long this lasts we'll do what we can to fight it.. Hope you're all still staying safe staying home..
I'm just wondering how many others here are escaping from the reality of the job they are doing??

I’m still working, did 34 hours over the weekend and on a 10 hour shift now. Not got a day off until a week on thursday, last day off was the Saturday before last. Needless to say, I’m utterly exhausted.
And have another job where I need to work from home, no time for that atm. |

Good man. I'm frontline NHS but you're just as much a key worker. Keep up the good work and I hope you all enjoyed the meat(no pun intended).
Stay safe |

I'm at work now for the first time in 3 weeks and not doing my normal job.
Rather brilliantly, I'm 3D printing face visor parts for the NHS as we have bought 10 3D printers especially for this to help out.
I feel a bit happier knowing I've come back to work and doing my but to help out |
