In the past the pope was viewed as the voice of god on earth ,,,Today the Vatican uses global main stream news to act as the voice of god where everyone believes what their being told is true without evidence of proof confirming its true.
The same group of people that lied to you telling you Iraq had weapons of mass destruction are now telling us all we are in the grip of a deadly pandemic Great way to get the people to willingly accept the removal of all their human rights and freedoms I guess ,,,
Tommorow if the main stream news simply announced the world was made out of cheese without evidence of proof ide wager 98% of the global pipulatuion would believe it as truth. |

The corona virus is a family of many viruses including the common cold flu and covid 19...government corona testing uses pcr method it only checks for ANY corona virus strain and not specific one ,,,So you can have a simple cold and be tested as a positive confirmed corona case.
As it stands msn reports just under 5009 covid 19 deaths so that's 12,000 less UK deaths than the seasonal flu of 2016 to 2017 ...and 23.000 UK deaths less than the common seasonal flu of 2017 to 2018 and no removal of all freedoms and the implementation of a global police state for them was their ?
Who is providing the daily confirmed corona cases and fatality stats ? The government and their main stream news stations state the governments health body ..public health England ...public
health England state the doctors in the hospitals on the front line …………..……………..Yet the doctors in the hospitals cant be obtaining the dauly confirmed corona cases and fatality stats as they tell everyone with a sligt cough to stay away from the hospitals and go self isolate at home instead. |

You appear to have grossly overstated the seasonal flu deaths. This from the BMJ:
"The cumulative number of cases and deaths were higher compared to the 2016 to 2017
season (992 cases (rate of 0.06) and 112 deaths) and to the 2015 to 2016 season
(2,173 cases (rate of 0.14 per 100, 000) and 166 deaths) in England. This season
represents the highest number and rate observed since the beginning of the scheme"

It's very dangerous to start treating media outlets as mouthpieces for a government unless you have very good evidence. That way leads to Trumpism and all the crazy shit he gets up to whilst being blindly supported by millions of people in his cult of personality.
If you are going to rely on an alternative source of information, you need to have good reason for thinking that is a better source. Media can get things wrong like anybody else but saying that's because they are controlled by the government needs to be backed up. |

As has already been stated, think you need to recheck the figures you are quoting, also probably best to use a reputable source for your information & to cross reference things to verify |
