Hi everyone,
This thread has probably been done before BUT for any new members or just for light relief today, what music do you want to be played at your funeral?
Me....? I’m in the Mood for Dancing by the Nolan Sisters.
Congregation must shuffle to it as I leave the building....
That will send me off good.

"Machine head - decend the shades of night.
Limp bizkit - hold on.
And
Evanescence- my immortal. "
Then everyone has to go and party hard afterwards, no soppy wake for me. |

"Time to say Goodbye as I disappear behind the curtain
I'd be an absolute mess listening to this "
That's what my Mum had, it brings back such raw emotional memories when I listen to it. Dad had Sailing, the Royal Marines instrumental version.
I don't know what I would like, I've changed my mind 4 times just thinking about it! |

This is cheerful with the coronavirus going on at the moment
I wouldnt like to play any songs at my funeral not to upset others even more.
Knowing me I'd probably choose a sad one anyway. |

"My whole selection is written down. My exit music Oh Lawd I’m On My Way. Jazz version sung by Louis Armstrong from Porgy and Bess. "
I'm going jazz too....a slow jazz version of 'just a closer walk with me' with people waving white hankies, new orleans funeral style! |

I prefer cremation.
Time to say goodbye as people enter the chapel.
Fire - Kasabian, as the curtains are closed and I leave the chapel area.
Always look on the bright side of life as people leave the chapel. |
