No...not silver or gold membership!

But investing in silver and precious metals. Anyone on here do it? I’d be very keen to speak to you if you do, to learn a bit about it.

It seems like the current climate may be favourable...

Yup

I’ve held physical silver for years.

It’s not performing as people expected, people were expecting it to spike over £25 per ounce like around 2010-2011.

The fact is it’s currently trading lower than this time last year. Private collectors aren’t selling.

I sold most of mine off last time it around £15 per ounce in 2016, it’s got more of an industrial purpose than hedge against fiat in my opinion now.

Also, buying from Belgium is a good way to not pay the VAT of 20% and have it delivered.

There’s also guernsey, but you’ll have to store it there as they’re not an EU member so you’d be hit for 20% VAT at customs.
