Just wondered what people’s deal breakers are for messages or meets??
I generally delete messages from people that have made no effort with their profile... do others do the same????"

Can't stand people with ridiculously long list of "requirements".
Also put off by arrogance in a profile. Like a nice laid back woman who I know is gonna enjoy any fun together. I'm not here to tick off people's lists. |

"Sorry it was to gaya600... but yes I can see that long lists would be annoying... but is it not good to get things said upfront?? "
I think it's fine to have a few preferences However, I've read a few profiles that are ridiculous. More requirements than what I'd expect in a wife tbh!
I consider myself quite picky but TBH apart from cleanliness, a great personality and a decent level of attraction I'm flexible. |

I never used to have a list but after sending out a million no thanks and getting a million why nots back or getting repeat messages when just deleting I created a list as a guideline. Always obvious then if someone has just spammed everyone or of they have read your profile. |

TBH I've just read your profile and it doesn't seem unreasonable. Fairy clear what you're after without being "onerous".
I've seen so many profiles on here that are almost an A-Z of requirements tho. Most of the time they actually give sweet FA info on what they actually offer and have no pics either! |

Monogamy
Being in a relationship and the partner not knowing
Isms and phobias (racism, sexism, homophobia, ageism etc etc)
Poor written English
Asking to be watched on camera
Not knowing which half of a couple is talking when a couple engages with me

Oh there’s a big list...
‘Straight guys’ who are bi but NEED to be discreet
Couples that appear to be singularly voiced
Messages that just deliver compliments but show no insight into why the sender should be of interest
Anyone who won’t show their face
Any message simply reading ‘hey’
And many many more... |

Straight away sex messages are annoying, asking exactly where I live and then assuming I'm meeting them, asking to meet now because they're free, blank profiles, and a cock only profile is like I've seen a million cocks, I want to see who they are not what's hidden in their trousers |

That's good to know I don't like my profile edit as I hate lists but decided some guidance was needed. It needs lots of tweaking |

On first glance there's a lot of wording there but it can easily be skim read to tease out the finer points. And none of it is anything unreasonable.
I like profiles that can be read and if I don't meet the criteria I skip it. Some are just total bollocks and often contradictory. |

I dunno you tell me? I'm quite up front about why I'm on here. FWB required and someone who's up for fun and not high maintenance.
The PS, PPS, PPPS are for people not getting the message who I find extremely annoying.
Happy to take any constructive criticism that people want to give tho..... |

I think in general it’s fine but perhaps doesn’t convey a sense of personality... you say you’re laid back but perhaps that doesn’t come across in the text underneath.
I tend to think the more statements about do’s and dont’s made the less approachable the person is. I guess it could just read as a little more fun/friendly with a few tweaks x |

I'm very relaxed and friendly. Unfortunately due to the amount of idiots on here that don't read profiles I kinda feel I have to give some tough love every now and again.
Laid back doesn't mean pushover or "soft". I'm a fucking lovely guy (my mum says so so it must be true ) but I really get pissed off with people who can't read a profile.
Hence the "text underneath". In an ideal world it wouldn't be needed but this is Fab and some people just aren't very bright are they? |

Why not just click no messages from men and tv/ts instead in your settings? Far easier and it then let’s you have a much softer public facing profile? |

Because I can chat to other guys on Fab about random stuff then. My profile says I'm straight, surely that's enough for guys/TV's not to message me asking if I "want sucking off"?
If I see a female profile saying interested in couples/females only I don't message them, simples. So why do gay men/TV's struggle with the concept that straight guys may get offended? I'm confused. |
