What a great idea. Never thought to buy a kilt from amazon, always thought they'd be out of my price range. Found everything except for the waistcoat and jacket for under £100, absolute bargain! |

"Ok as a result of buying a kilt off Amezon they emailed me to ask if i would like to buy Lederhosen!
So who is turned on by the idea of a man in Lederhosen? Schuhplatter is optional. "

Yah for a basic outfit they are great. The ones i went for are Utility Kilts to ware to festivals and messy events. My proper one i save for importaint things like Rugby! The cost of my full proper outfit was closer to £1000. But these fun kilts are great.
Lederhosen well now this is a totally different idea. |

Well as someone who has family in Tirol in Austria, like a kilt proper Lederhosen are not cheap but last and are a subject in themselves. They come in differing forms (e.g. long or shot leg). You need the socks (Strümpfe or Socken), proper shirt too (both also have various styles dependent on time of year).

The utility ones look great for every day wear. Ordered a couple this morning with some cherry red Dr Martens. I reckon they'll look the business with a nice polo shirt.
Lederhosen though, wtf is all that about lol |

I get you as my Mum was Austrian. Its my Dad who is the Scot. I identify as Scots but have not forgotten my Austrian side. I am tempted by Lederhosen. |
