Central Station , the venue where Sweet Weds and other events are held is in trouble as a result of the covid lockdown like many others in the hospitality industry.
Central station has been part of the LGBT+ community for over 30 years and would be a shame for it to become yet another to shut its doors forever, there is a long list of venues gone the same way and nothing seems to take their place.
While the events held there at the underground club may be able to re-locate , they never see to be the same once they do. There is a fundraiser page set up ( I'll not mention here ) on Go fund me , this can be accessed via Central Stations website. |

I go to both clubs occasionally.
Yes both much of a muchness in terms of clientele albeit in SW there are less inhibitions and sometimes in legs guys just walking round for ages waiting for someone to make the first move
Venue wise SW is definitely inferior as it's shabby and crowded downstairs with no privacy
