Rough Trade East, near Brick Lane is amazing for “trendy” new records and is fun to hang out in. In Soho you can find Phonica, Sounds Of The Universe & Black Market for new releases and Sister Ray for pricy second hand offerings.
Spittlefields Market has 2nd hand vinyl stalls some days (thurs and sun, I think). There’s a monthky or bi-monthly record fayre in the Truman Brewery, also on Brick Lane.
There’s a bunch of quirkier, dustier shops around. I found one in Lewisham earlier this year. The Boussey Building has one. The web is your friend here... |
