Can one help I have a Honda Civic type s 2003

My boot won’t open and read online that is some time it to do with the battery Being disconnected. But the battery is all fine The boot seams to unlock but the catch won’t release. Any ideas

Normally there is a boot release on the inside of the boot area, if you battery is ok it maybe a break in the wire or the electric motor for it is dead

Have you tried the remote ..original OEM had a boot release function i think it was two presses or two and hold?

My remote only has lock and unlock.. not 3rd button for the boot tried holding down the unlock button for a few seconds

Going by memory ..lots of people in BFG bought the same motor had same issue..sounds dumb but ask Honda Garage ..anyone worth their salt would not even suggest booking it in if its a common fult
