We use booking.com, but with all these types of site it's best to book well in adavance(three months!) to get the best deals, we have stayed at the hilton in docklands for about the same money has a real cheep dump in the west end!
Lat weeeknd we stayed in Notting Hill(for the Carnival), got an apartment with all the facilities right in Notting hill for £100 per night |

You really need to bounce about between the various sites. I'm in the UK, especially London every month and use the following:
Booking.com
Expedia.com
Laterooms.com
Lastminute.com
Grangehotels.com
These seem to be the best. What area are you looking at, perhaps I can recommend a hotel that is good, but on a budget. |
