Planning trip to Londonthis weekend but cheapest accom I can get is in Croydon

Does anyone know if there are good transport links from there to central London before I book ? X

West Croydon is an hour's tube ride to central London with 2 or 3 changes.

Not 24 hour tubes either.

Maybe try looking at B&B or smaller, independent hotels around zones 1 & 2 in places like Shepherds Bush, Paddington or Earls Court.
