Finchley

Went to Rios for the first time last week. Think Ill definitely make it a monthly thing. Definitely worthy of mixed reviews but I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

That's pretty much how I feel about Rios too. I do like going, but if it wasn't quick and easy to get to, I wouldn't go that often. Apart from steam rooms and bigger saunas, I prefer Kestrels. Maybe not so much in winter though

Although nicer to go to places with someone, I'd say Rios is a pretty easy place to go on your own to. I managed it fine and I'm usually very shy in new surroundings if I don't know anyone.

Just don't expect a warm welcoming guided tour by the staff. Unlike several other places I've been to, they don't seem big on that there.

Are there any other such places in London worth visiting?

Not that I know of as central as Rios, but there is Kestrels by Heathrow T5 (really good) and Paradise Spa in Chadwell Heath near Dagenham (pretty good).
