Will be our first time too, slowly getting the things we need to cosplay, plus our first time having a weekend in London, so will need recommendations for places to go out in the evening. |

My daughter does the same. She's been to quite a few and is taking her brother to his first one. She makes her own costumes as well. |

We tried to get the one opposite convention hall, but it was fully booked, so were now stayingbin a hotel near Maze Hill. Might have to look for a club in London for the evening, any recommendations. |

Its full  plus the hotels next to the Excel are very expensive during that weekend. We'll just taxi it in and out. |

I shall be there! Good for you on the ol' bump. Likely not staying over at a hotel -myself- seeing as I live in London, but who knows if I spend an evening or so with friends, new or old, there.
Likely not cosplay-in, but I have been semi-regular over the last few years. Hyper Japan is another good event similar to this. |

Gutted. Mr is away with work for this one so we're not going . Pictures of my Poison Ivy outfit are on our profile from the last one... Although I want to raise our game for the next one with a couples costume... Any suggestions? He wants to do Guardians of the Galaxy but I refuse to be painted green!

Just had a peek at your profile. I think you look great and would have looked amazing in green. With this being my first Comic Con and me being a massive Star Wars fan my first event outfit is a no brainer, I am going as an Imperial Officer, great excuse to wear boots and dress all in black.
However I am also hoping to get inspiration and ideas for different outfits to wear for future events, I'm so excited. |

The film and comics one isn't as big but has more focus on comics. There were certainly more comic sellers there than at comic con. I didn't come across many vendors selling comics at comic con, which was weird. So it really depends on what you want to see. |
