on the road to nowhere in particular |
I have found a perfect venue for a London social. Stylish, very comfortable, several playrooms, cinema, dungeons, glory holes the lot. It has a number of cheap hotels nearby and is only a few minutes from British rail stations and the motorway.
All we need now is a willing female or couple to organise it |

Why can't you organise it and ... more to the point, especially if its in London, why hasn't a social been held there before. Do you need cinema, gloryholes, dungeon for a social??? If so, I have been going to the wrong socials .... |

"Well if it's close to abfabs it's not in London so wouldn't be any good"
You will have to teach me that psychic geography that you practice. I haven't told you the location but you seem to know it already.
The venue is in London |

"Generally social locations aren't posted on public forums unless that are at clubs.
Maybe why he doesn't want to say."
But glory holes, dungeon and playrooms doesn't sound very social |

I try to attend as many London socials as I can. All the organisers tell me what a nightmare it is compared to other parts of the country.
I would love to know why I really would? |

Last social I went to was at the roof gardens in Kensington. Great turn out, that also happened to have a wedding reception, 21st birthday and a high school reunion happening too... was interesting to say the least |

Oh yeah what a night that was!
I thought they would do socials there on a regular basis, but never happend again.
London needs more 'social' gatherings. I am looking at some options. If there is something suitable... I will have a go in organising my 1st event!
All I know is my friend Mae will have fun |

I have made an enquiry at a pub between King's cross and Euston station. For next Sunday (27th march) for 6pm for at least 20 people for a Social. Don't know how most people get a successful social arranged, but if this isn't a good date, I'd love to hear people's input xx |

"How can i get informed about the next social at the roof?
It was a social for an event organiser. They post on the events section sometimes. City Slickers.
"
I think that particular event organiser is having a small break at the moment but I'm sure will be back.

I suggested this recently on another thread. The central station pub right near King's Cross station could be a good venue as it is extremely lifestyle friendly.
The main bar on the entrance floor is quite large with a pool table and sometimes put out a buffet too. |

You are welcome and I'm very keen to support social events. That's what helps make a community for me. Xx
(sorry I can't be there this Sunday but I'm sure it will be awesome) |

Right may be best for me to start a list of people going. So if you are interested in this Sunday (27th March) at 6pm. I have a venue already reserved for 20 people at the Euston Flyer Pub between Euston station and King's Cross station. If there are MORE than 20 people coming, I have another venue at the ready which is close to Oxford circus station.
Please go to the thread: Central London Social
And tell me there
So I can see the numbers we may expect.
I hope to meet you all |

I'd be interested as I'm regularly in Heathrow
