Before we moved to London we commuted in and stayed in hotels 4 nights a week for 3 years  so stayed in over 200 London hotels - we liked to change
If at a weekend you can normally get the grange at Tower Hill (3 mins walk to Tower of London ) and next to tube for £109 a night - 5 star with swimming pool + steam rooms etc
Mini bar + ice machine in corridor
Bath robes etc
Would be our 1st choice (at that sort of rate )
Rooms are super large (choose a twin and you get 2 double beds)
