What's with people on friends list that do not reply to messages. Pic collectors or what?

I guess that's the way to go, and some say they don't have the time, yet they have the time to fab my pic.

Fabbing a pic takes 2 seconds. A conversation is a considerable time commitment.

I totally understand that, but even a few words reply would do sometimes.

My rule is to only friend those who you've met and if after that they vanish or don't reply, I unfriend.

Don't see the point of keepin friends on the list if they don't talk, meet or anything else.
