Any single ladies fancy going to op4fun tonight! I noticed it was free for mixed couples so thought it may be worth it!

Don't worry, wouldn't expect to be with you ALL night, unless you wanted to! xx

Don't OP4F have a policy about "tickets" - i.e. ladies who help single guys get in at reduced rates then don't play? You might fall foul of this.

Apologies if I'm misconstruing the suggestion.

I know you're looking to play. The point is would the lady play as well?

If not, she's a "ticket", enabling you to get in as a single guy without paying, which would not be fair on the genuine single guys who have paid.

All clubs have a dislike for "TICKETS".... the idea of mixed couples and single girls paying a minimal entrance fee in comparison to single guys is to attract more women into the clubs. Because without women there is no club full stop .. single guys wont pay premium rates to stand in a bar with just a load of blokes .. so guys turning up with "TICKETS" is damaging to the club dynamic.. espeacilly on couples and single girl nights .. thats exactly what the night is aimed at not couples single girls .. yet still find yourself being pestered by what would appear to be single guys .. most who attend these nights do so to avoid the nuisance of the pushy or creepy single guys .. sorry for the late reply ..

I take exception to this and wouldn't go to a club that demands I play, as a woman. In fact we have been called a fake couple because of this ... we've been living together two years though. I don't think these clubs consider that the woman may not find someone suitable to play with there, but the male might.

" nobody was demanding anybody plays anywhere . You being a genuine couple do not fall into the "ticket" category .. the ticket is when a guy hooks up with some random girl purely to get into a couples only night then wander their seperate ways as singles as soon as they get in .. "

This rule is aimed at guys who bring different women in everytime ...not couples and the rule is that actually as long as the women in such couple play first thats fine ...just not that the man wanders around as a single bloke ...with no intention of playing with the woman he brought with him its maybe not always said in such a understandable way lol ....xx caz

So you are saying I would have to play in order to allow my partner to play? What if I don't want to play and he does though? Do I have to in order for him to?

nobody HAS to play at all .. but some TIGHT single guys hook up with girls for no other reason than to either get in cheaply. Or worse still to gain access to couples and single girl only nights .. these nights are designed purely to cater for the couples and single girls who do NOT like being constantly pestered by weird creepy pushy single guys. And are generally off limits to such .. making them irresistable to usually the worse kind of single guys out there who would do whatever it takes to gain access to said events up to and including hooking up with a TICKET ... paul

Does the woman have to play first or not? I have been told by the club that if I don't play then he is using me as a ticket. We have been living together for two years. Neither of us put any limitations or boundaries on who plays, and we are not going to go to a club that tells us what to do. I just think its a bit weird to say no play for the man unless the woman plays ... like I say, I am secure enough in our relationship not to have to play for him to play ... it shouldn't have to work like that. Aren't there times in a club where there isn't anyone she wants to play with? If so, what should the man do? I find it puts pressure on the woman to have to perform/conform ....

of course you dont have to play at all ... but then you can still socialise as a couple surely? As opposed to your other half wandering around as a single guy . Personally we chose this lifestyle for OUR enjoyment not mine or hers .. its something we love to do together .. and generally at couples only nights you find couples who wish to play with other couples not single guys .. if that is what you are into then maybe the nights that allow single guys in would be more suited to yourselves .. theres no blueprint to swinging and everyones different but the clue is in the name COUPLES night

No, I don't play with other guys. Both of us like to socialise, but we aren't joined at the hip ... we have some friends in common and some not (talking about the real world here). It just seems that many of these clubs are kay for the women to play alone and not the men .... not sure how that is a definition of couple, but the man playing without the woman isn't.

they are all okay for men to play on their own .. on the specific nights that they are allowed.and to be honest without girls in a club there is no club. Unless its a gay club of course .. clubs need to make money to be able to run . That is usually generated by charging single guys a premium to get in .. now in return the club has to offer them something worth their while going so attracting couples and single girls there by offering a greatly reduced rate or even free is a great way acheive this as believe it or not single guys are willing to do most things to get into a good club .. but then the guy girl ratio starts to to change heavily and some guys cant compete with so many other guys so they either go home unsatisfied and never return which is not going to be good business for any club . Or they become pushy or gropey .. which most girls or couples hate and may lead to them not coming back .. also not good for business..OR they grab a ticket so they can get in cheaper so if they do leave unsatisfied theyre not so put out .. you as a couple if you are how you say you are DO NOT fall into any of these categories .. but if you turn up at a couples and single girl nights most of the other couples and single girls attending will have gone there looking for other couples or single girls not single guys .. if they were looking for single guys they would have gone there on a single guy night .. you wouldnt go into a butchers then demand vegetables purely because you didnt fancy meat . if you avoid couples and single girl nights then i honestly cant see what your issue is .. going as a couple to a night that allows single guys in nobody would have an issue with him roaming around on his jax ... the only issue the club may have which would be almost impossible to prove would be if you were only going as a couple so your other half can get the full advantage of being a single guy in a club at half the price .. we get that you may not meet anyone you fancy playing with thats more than fine .. nobody should expect anything from anyone at all .. but if the whole thing really wasnt your thing but youre more than happy for him to enjoy it on his own then thats a different matter all together .. surely you can understand the difference?

Youd go to the greengrocers instead..

Why would we not be who we said we are? We avoid couples nights to be honest, because of too many d*unk women .... but I guess that is what many clubs thrive on. if you avoid couples and single girl nights then i honestly cant see what your issue is .. going as a couple to a night that allows single guys in nobody would have an issue with him roaming around on his jax ... the only issue the club may have which would be almost impossible to prove would be if you were only going as a couple so your other half can get the full advantage of being a single guy in a club at half the price .. we get that you may not meet anyone you fancy playing with thats more than fine .. nobody should expect anything from anyone at all .. but if the whole thing really wasnt your thing but youre more than happy for him to enjoy it on his own then thats a different matter all together .. surely you can understand the difference?"

besides this thread in this forum was started by somebody who DID want to hook up with a random girl purely to get in cheap or to a couples only night ..

"This rule is aimed at guys who bring different women in everytime ...not couples and the rule is that actually as long as the women in such couple play first thats fine ...just not that the man wanders around as a single bloke ...with no intention of playing with the woman he brought with him its maybe not always said in such a understandable way lol ....xx caz

Apparently that's why we've been living together for two years ... to get into clubs half price? Pretty easy to prove we are a couple: council tax bill! Difficult to enjoy the experience as a couple though, for reasons other than us. But like you say, clubs and couples aren't our thing. I just find it sad that some clubs encourage women in couples to play on their own but frown on men who are doing the same thing ....

thats not true .. its just more difficult to get girls and couples to attend clubs without encouragement but the single guys seem to need NO encouragement other than there being girls there .

Haha don't blow my cover on here and say I am nice. I have spent years establishing my reputation as arsey and argumentative, ranting and raving. Don't you dare suggest this is deliberate on my part

"would love to try that place out but im skint and properly to old and not your type to go lol and live the wrong end to get a lift there lol "

it's tiny place bubble and you need to be proactive in talking to people there.
