Completely agree with you about London … we are blessed to be living in the most cosmopolitan and culturally vibrant city in the world at the most welcoming and open minded era in our species existence.
To answer your question, I’ll relay a few mixed experiences I was fortunate to enjoy over the summer (all as Alice). Meeting late morning at Trafalger Square in the glorious sunshine to meet a fellow t girl and to see the Caravaggio exhibition at the National Gallery. Followed by a stroll to Covent Garden for some tea and ice cream to browse the boutiques and then a spot of late lunch at the Crypt Cafe under St Martins in the Field. We then caught one of the candlelight concerts at St Martins which was magical and then a lovely lunch at the Ochre Restaurant at the National Gallery.
Recommend the above eateries as really welcoming and delicious. Also the amazing Poppies fish and chip shop in Soho on Old Compton Street - fabulous staff and get the seat by the window …. Great way to see the hustle and bustle and wonder of Soho while devouring some scrumpy fnc!
Lots and lots of wonderful things to do and see … had hoped to see the Rocky Horror Show as Alice this autumn but my broken wrist has stopped that 😫
Roll on 2025 …. So much more xxx
Thanks for the post and apologies if this isn’t what you were after xxx
Hugs
