We are visiting London in a couple weeks and want to go see some stand up on the Friday night....

What comedy venues do you recommend?

If your in the south east, there’s ‘up the creek’ in SE10.

My favourite is The Backyard Comedy Club in Bethnal Green E2 as it's my local. Lee Hurst used to own it and would sometimes be the MC introducing 3 acts. Decent prices, pool/table tennis and Shoreditch down the road if you're going out out afterwards.

"Top secret comedy club in central "

Yes it’s very different to the Leicester Square and Covent Garden ones , but all are good

Id always recommend this place, if you’re a visitor to London. If you’re a Londoner other options like Top Secret, Vauxhall Comedy club, 99 club. And Islington comedy. I heard good things about the Backyard.

I watch a fair bit of stand up and london has so many options these days.
