Stratford

There was one in Leytonstone at some point. Loads of accessible places to host them between Stratford, Hackney, Leytonstone and the Docklands

"That’s the thing, east london has so many nice venues we could host it at "

Why not to organise one then and let us all know the date and the venue, there’s lots of us this end.

Wherever I lay my hat

Blackheath....Leytonstone.... Herein lies the first problem. Does the southern contingent head north or will the northern lot be prepared to come sarf of the river?!

I assumed east London was the part north of the river but again this raises a good point. We have the north central london and London Bridge socials but nothing south of the river. All easy enough to get to though and I don’t mind traveling

Not an unreasonable assumption given the E postcode it must be said!

Edmonton

If considered suitable I would be interested in attending a social in East London.I am based in Edmonton North London so places in Walthamstow , Leytonstone , Leyton , Bethnal Green , Hackney , Stratford , Chingford are not that difficult for me to get to via the underground

Erith

Given the connections from south of the river to north or vice versa.

Why not have alternate venues? One social in the north then the next south of the river.

I could quite easy get to a venue North of the river and quite often do for work.

Yes, I would travel to the the other side of the river if I was invited to a social.

Oh could I put my name!

I'm liking your thinking. Could alternate between different E and SE postcodes. Inclusive

As previously people have said pick a place & a date.

With London, east, west, north, south, people will travel (if they want to) to where the social takes place. Just make it accessible by transport.

If you set it up, I’d be there if free on the date set.

Mayfair

In principle I would be interested, depending on locale. I'm not averse to South London but unfortunately there are limited options with the London Underground south of the river.

The London Bridge social is technically south of the river…

No technically it is, you’d get wet feet and more if tried to walk north (without the bridge)
