This year's is on now until 28 August, and it's handy for Kentish Town and the delights of Rio's!

I've seen the odd play in the fringe in previous years, and been to most of the venues otherwise at one time or another. What I've seen has generally been decent, but obviously it's a whole new set of plays (and some other things) each year. They're usually quite short, with a very high proportion of new work rather than established plays, most running an hour or so, often with small casts, some are one-person shows. A lot of the venues are pub theatres, so they're small, some very small; if you like those kind of theatres then I expect you'd enjoy going, and you can take in several performances in one day, as the times vary.

It's worth bearing in mind that it's across the London Borough of Camden, which is quite a large borough, it's not just in Camden Town. You'll get a bit of a different vibe seeing something in Camden Town to say a play at Upstairs at the Gatehouse which is in Hampstead - a very nice place and pub, but somewhat quieter. As the poster above says, Rio's is very near but that's if you're seeing something in Camden Town.
